The start is about the nuclear family and how it used to be. Later on and mixed in the middle we discuss how things have changed for the worse, or just radically changed for the traditional family structure.
The Prussian Military system we train our children in for their roll as a cog in the machine of society is discussed, and speculation about what that machine is trying to accomplish. Hence the electronic butterfly.  
 
Greg gets his transmission cut and Gabe takes the opportunity to go tin foil hat sitting in the bunker drinking iodine with a gas mask on crazy and talk about aliens yet again.

(I should say that I summarized this in the show but jumped to my own conclusions right away when saying that if aliens exist that they must have a code of conduct or a religion that keeps them in check.) My thought is that they develop an AI the controls them from becoming "grabby" in the first place before they develop enough to venture out into the universe on their own. 

Don't be shocked if we find an excuse to go to war with Iran in the near future. What could be the reason for this? Glad you asked. The reason is BRICS which is an economic partnership primarily between Brazil, Russia, India, and South Africa. Iran is also a member of this partnership.
At the 2023 meeting of BRICS there was discussion about de-dollarization. This would threaten the United States ability to keep printing money like it's going out of style, and devalue the dollar. I believe that the United States views this as an existential threat to our global hegemony and will provoke a war with another member of BRICS before the election in November of 2024. We are currently fighting a proxy war with Russia.

This episode introduces the idea that your government isn't alway the good guy. Sometimes they do secret medical experiments on us, sometimes they propagandize to us, and they really seem to have an affinity towards Nazis... 
We start out with a little background on how people seem to fit into the rolls they are assigned and always use the power they are given over others. This leads us into how people cede their individual decision making to figures of authority as seen in the Milgram Experiments. 
This leads us to the first example of how the government feels as though they can conduct medical experiments on you without your knowledge if you happen to be a black sharecropper.
 
This leads us to talk about how the government collaborated with the Nazis to develop NASA, ICBMS, and the CIA.
